Reliable Production Service, Inc. got its humble beginning through the hard work and vision of James L. Moore. Back in 1965, Reliable began as a one man, local pumping service out of Livonia, La. The company operated out of the Livonia Office until 1998 when it relocated to its current location in Port Allen, La. After only a few years, the geographical working range covered a three-state area and the name Reliable came to represent one of the most complete well-servicing and workover operations in South Louisiana. Reliable continues to work in a three-state area, and with many of the same employees. Over thirty-five workers have been with the company for twenty years or more, with another twenty-five having ten or more years. Forty years after inception, Reliable Production Service has grown from a one-man company to 140 dedicated workers strong. Along with skilled personnel, the quality and number of rigs and other service equipment has increased throughout the years as well.
